We are seeking an Experienced Senior Java Architect to lead the design and
development of a highly sophisticated CMS (Content Management System) for the Publishing industry.

Responsibilities and Duties include:
• Design and architect large scale applications a web based environment
• Research functional specifications and develop detailed system architectures
• Create and implement technical designs and perform technical analysis
• Lead and mentor an Agile team

Required Technical Qualifications:

• Over 7 years of experience in:
  - J2EE technologies (Core Java 1.6+, JSP, EJB, JDBC, JMS, WASD, RAD, Servlets)
  - Strong XML processing experience (XSD, XPath, XSL, XSLT)
  - HTML / CSS, JavaScript, SSL, JQuery, Prototype, Scriptaculous
  - Experience with J2EE Framework/ORM (Struts / Hibernate)
  - SQL , Frameworks (MVC), Web Services (Rest / Soap), Ajax, BIRT
  - Cloud computing – Application hosting, Clustering and Syndication
• Experience working in an Agile environment / Experience as a Scrum Master
• Solid OOD/OOP foundation with experience in UML diagramming and design documentation
• Extremely strong programming fundamentals (debugging and analytical problem analysis within
  object-oriented application systems)
• Experience designing and building complex customer-facing applications

Additional Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering (Master’s degree preferred)
• Candidates must have excellent communication, leadership, and people skills
• Must have significant English abilities (speaking, reading, and writing)
